Timothy McDermet joined Sullivan & Comerford, P.C. as a full-time attorney in 2025. His practice focuses on real estate litigation, real estate transactions, corporate law, business formation, mergers and acquisitions, and business litigation. Timothy is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and before the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
Timothy graduated cum laude from the University of Maine in 2021 and earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Massachusetts School of Law in 2025. Before joining Sullivan & Comerford as an attorney, Timothy served as a legal intern with the firm from 2024 to 2025. He also interned at Haber & DiPaul, LLC and worked in the University of Maine System’s Office of General Counsel, where he participated in collective bargaining negotiations alongside the Deputy General Counsel.
Since joining Sullivan & Comerford, Timothy has represented property owners in disputes before the Massachusetts Superior Court and Land Court. He has also assisted clients with mergers, acquisitions, business formations, and other transactions involving corporate entities. Timothy is a member of the Plymouth County Bar Association.
Timothy lives in Rockland with his wife Madeline.
