We have a long history representing schools and school administrators in a variety of issues. Specifically, we have represented schools in real estate, risk management and employment areas. We counsel school leaders on personnel issues such as hiring, discipline, and negotiating head of school contracts. We are experienced in drafting school policies and handbooks, student discipline guidelines and student rights. We help school boards and board members understand laws that regulate school boards. We also review and revise school policies and procedures and address board governance issues. Our educational clients include independent elementary and day and boarding high schools throughout New England. We also are counsel to school associations.
